For help with deleting a payee, follow the step by step instructions.

Online Banking

  1. Log in to your Online Banking service at www.onlinebanking.natwestinternational.com (opens in a new window)
  2. Select 'Payments & transfers' from the main menu, then from the 'Payments and transfers' landing page select 'Manage payees'
  3. From the table of payees displayed click on the payee you want to delete
  4. The payee details will expand to reveal further payee information. Check that this is the correct payee to delete and then click on the 'Delete payee' button
  5. An 'Are you sure?' message will be displayed with the full payee information and once you're happy you want to continue with the deletion click the 'Delete payee' button

You should now see confirmation that your Payee has been deleted.

To avoid the possibility of a payment being sent to an incorrect person or company, it is worth checking your list of Payees every so often and deleting any that you no longer need.

Mobile app

  1. Once logged into the app, tap 'Payments' at the bottom of your home screen
  2. Make sure the account displayed is a current account. You can swipe to change accounts or tap 'Change account' to do this
  3. Tap 'Payment settings'
  4. Tap 'Manage payees'
  5. Select a payee 
  6. Tap 'Delete payee' at the bottom of the page to remove them from your payee list
