You'll need your mobile app if you have registered for Biometrics or your card reader to change your mobile phone number in Online Banking.

Don't have a card reader? You can order one in Online Banking.

Follow these instructions to change your phone number:

  1. In Online Banking, select 'your details' and then 'Update mobile phone number'.
  2. Type in your new number into the 'New mobile number' box. Then retype it in the 'Repeat new mobile number' box.
  3. Make sure your number and country code are correct, then authorise the change using your card reader.

As a security measure, once you have changed your mobile number you will have to wait 3 full calendar days before you can register for the mobile banking app. During this time, you will not be able to request a mobile banking activation code however you will be able to login to Online Banking.
