You can move money between your accounts with us in the follow ways:

Using our mobile app

  1. Login to your Mobile Banking app
  2. Tap ‘Payments’ on the bottom of the home screen
  3. Make sure the account shown is set to the account where you want to make the transfer from. You can swipe to change accounts or tap 'Change account'
  4. Tap ‘Transfer money’
  5. Tap the account you want to transfer to. If you only have one other account to transfer to you may not need to select an account
  6. Enter the amount and reference if required
  7. Select ‘Continue’
  8. Confirm the transfer details are correct and press ‘Make transfer’

Please note: Transfers can only be made between the NatWest International accounts you are named on.

Using Online Banking

You need to log in to Online Banking at (opens in a new window).

If you have more than one account, you can use the 'Quick Transfer' box on the 'Account summary' page. This will allow you to make an immediate transfer.


Select 'Payments & transfers' from the main menu, then on the Payments and transfers landing page, select the account you want to debit under 'Select an account'. Then under the 'Select who to pay' section, select 'Transfer money between your NatWest International accounts' and follow the on screen instructions. Using this option, transfers can be made immediately or scheduled up to 120 days in the future.

What's the difference between a payment and a transfer?

We use the term Transfer to cover the movement of money between accounts in your name that you hold with us.

We use the term Payments to cover the movement of money between your account and another person's account or from your account with us to an account you hold with another organisation.

How much can I transfer between my accounts?

Provided that there are sufficient funds in the account that you want to transfer from, you can transfer into another NatWest International accounts that you are named on and that you can view online:

  • A minimum of 1p
  • A maximum of £99,999.99 per transaction, but with no daily maximum number of transactions
