To make a payment or transfer using the mobile app please follow these instructions based on what type of device you are using:
Make a payment
- From your chosen eligible account, select the 'Pay' button from the Home screen, or 'Payments' from the account menu.
- Select 'Make a payment'.
- Tap on 'Choose payee' and then 'Pay someone new'.
- Enter the payee’s name, account number and sort code, and then tap Continue
- Enter a reference and choose the amount and date.
To ensure your money is safe, we will sometimes ask you to authorise a payment.
- If you have registered for face biometrics, we will ask you to use this and you will be able to authorise a new payment up to £20,000.00 for Personal customers or £20,000.00 for Premier and Business customers. Mobile payment limits
If you haven’t registered for face biometrics you can
- Use Face ID/Touch ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android or your app passcode up to the mobile app daily limit.
Transfer between accounts
- From your chosen eligible account, select the 'Transfer' button from the Home screen, or 'Make a transfer' from the account menu.
- Choose which account you would like to transfer to and the amount.
- Select 'send now' or 'send later' then 'Make a transfer'
